Signe C. Prior age 65, of Erie, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at St. Vincent Health Center.
She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on July 13, 1947, a daughter of the late William and Loretta Orman.
She graduated from Edinboro University with a degree in Education and spent many years teaching at the Erie Day School and the GECAC Charter School. She enjoyed going to the beach, reading and especially spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband Gordon, Signe is survived by her two sons, Chris and Bryan Prior both of Erie along with her mother-in-law, Dorothy Prior. Services were private at the convenience of the family and under the care of Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, Pa., 16502.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania, 2407 Zimmerly Rd., Erie, Pa., 16506.
