Emily Darlene Enders, age 66 of Erie, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 21, 2012.
Born in Greensburg, PA, Emily was the daughter of the late Gerald and Elva Smith.
She was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and the Lawrence Park Athletic Club. She retired from General Electric after 26 years of service.
Emily enjoyed her time with her grandchildren, they were the light of her life. She loved her BINGO and the trips to the Casino.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Enders. (Adolph)
Survivors include her three daughters, Laura DeAngelo and husband Vincent of Waterford, Joann Roman and her husband Carmello of Erie and Pam Enders of Erie, five sons, Gary Bessetti, Rodney Bessetti, Jeffrey Bessetti, Martin Davis and his wife Lisa and Christopher Davis and his wife Christine all of Erie, 26 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, two brothers Gary Waide and his wife Elaine of Erie and Michael Smith and his wife Patty of Olean, NY and three sisters Maryann Bernsley of Erie, Kathy Fuller and husband Art of Erie and Sheena Baker and husband David of Saegertown. She is also survived by a special friend, Sandy Feathers of Erie.
Friends will be received at Burton Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street Erie, Pa. 16502 on Friday from 2:00 till 4:00 pm and 7:00 till 9:00 pm and are invited to a service there on Saturday at 10:00 am with Rev. William Cox officiating.
Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 9263 Lake Pleasant Rd., Erie, Pa. 16509.
