Carl G. Norman, age 85, of Erie died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center.
Born in Erie on July 27, 1927, he was the son of the late Carl F. and Florence Gordon Norman.
Mr. Norman was a 1947 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and had worked at Hamot Hospital for 45 years completing his career as an orderly in the operating room.
Carl was a longtime member of Luther Memorial Church; he belonged to AARP, the Siebenbuerger Club, the Zukor Club, the Sunflower Club, and the Hamot Retirees Group.
Survivors include his cousin, Lois Higgins, of Elkhart, IN and his godchild, Linda Higgins Boyer, of Angola, IN.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral and Home and Crematory, Inc. 602 West 10th Street, Sunday from 2pm until the time of service at 5pm with the Reverend William Coleman officiating.
Burial will be in Erie Cemetery.
