Christina Marie Fairchild, 56, of 7251 Ruhl Road, Fairview, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 1, 2009, at her home. Born January 27, 1953, in Erie, she was the daughter of the late Clairice Bennett Nolan Trammell. Christina was a Strong Vincent High School graduate and had worked for several years as an inspector at Thomas Erie. She attended Holy Cross Catholic Church and was a former member of St. Peter's Cathedral. Christina enjoyed gardening, ceramics and loved animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family; she will be remembered for her heart of gold by all who knew her.
Christina is survived by her husband Mark Fairchild, her son Ryan Nolan and his fiancée Danielle of McKean, a granddaughter Rylie Nolan, and a brother William Nolan of Florida.
Friends may attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009, at All Faiths Chapel in the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, Girard.
