Helena M. Bole Kinstler Sapp, age 74, of Erie, died Monday, February 01, 2010 at St. Vincent Health Center following an extended illness..

Helena was born in Erie, August 21, 1935, a daughter of the late Earl E. and Elsie McCumber Bole.

She attended Millcreek High School and also attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Wayside Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed singing in both choirs.
Helena was a nurse for Dr. Goldberg and the Lake Erie Institute of Rehabilitation (LEIR). She also worked in retail (Eckards, Robert Halls, & Fashion Bug). She lived in Florida for 22 years. She loved to sing with the radio show "Stairway to the Stars;" roller skating, playing the organ and piano, and being around her loved ones. She loved her Yorkie dog, Princess Jill. Helena was very fun loving! She loved dancing, going to the beach, and crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Sapp; a sister, Marion Pellow and two brothers, Glenn and Chuck Bole.

She is survived by her children, James Kinstler and his girlfriend, Ann; Kathie Danowski and her husband, Dan; Debbie Genis and her husband, James; Robert Kinstler and his wife, Linda; Mark Kinstler and his girlfriend, Chris. Also surviving is Helena's close friend, Greg Pomerleau of Bradenton, FL, as well as twelve grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street, Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM and Wednesday from 2-5 PM and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held there Thursday morning at 11:00 with Reverend Keith Sundberg officiating.

Interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
