Daniel Scott Raines, II age 27, of Erie, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 2, 2010, of diabetic complications.
He was born in Erie, on March 9, 1982, a son of Daniel Raines, Sr. and the late Mary Borges Raines Dovichak.
Daniel was a graduate of Seneca High School, class of 2000. He worked with his mom at the Barber Center National Institute as a group leader and caregiver.
He was a member of AA and loved camping, the outdoors, video games, and music.
In addition to his mother, Daniel is preceded in death by a grandfather Robert Borges, Sr.
He is survived by his father Daniel S. Raines, Sr. and his wife Denise of Girard; three brothers: Nicholas Raines of Erie; Brandon and Michael Raines, both of Girard; a stepsister Vanessa Miller of Erie; Grandparents: Robert and Janet Raines of Millcreek and Joan Borges of Erie; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 602 West 10th St. on Saturday from 12noon until 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the family in care of the Burton Funeral Home.
