Art Jensen, age 93, formerly of Erie, died Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Manor Care Arden Court, in Largo FL.
He was born in Erie on March 10, 1917 son of the late Martin and Marie Christenson Jensen.
He owned and operated Jensen Collison and Art's Auto Body Shop for 30 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Louie and Hank and Richard Jensen; two sisters, Florence Eckard and Dorothy Jensen Tate.
He is survived by two sons, Barry Jensen of Clearwater, Fl, Jack Jensen of Erie, a daughter, Sally Jensen and her husband Jeff of Belleair, FL, one brother, Donald Jensen of Union City and a sister, Hanna Jensen McGavern of Erie also survive.
Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West 10th Street, on Tuesday from 2 :00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there Wednesday at 10:00 am with Reverend Dr. Aaron Kerr officiating.
Burial will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
