Margaret (Peg) E. Fritz Andalora, 95, died Monday, July 5, 2010, at Fairview Manor. Born in Morrisdale, PA, on July 12, 1914, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Trimchick Rhenish. Peg had worked as a clerk at several department stores in the Jamestown area. She enjoyed flowers, loved gardening and was a great cook. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.
Peg was preceded in death by her first husband, Franklin Fritz, her second husband, Sammie C. Andalora; two sisters, Helen Marcinko and Mildred Kovach; and a brother, John Rhenish.
She is survived by a daughter, Carole Sornberger and her husband H. Lyman of Fairview; a son, Jan Fritz and his wife Barbara of Erie; seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m on Thursday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7100 West Ridge Road, Fairview, PA 16417.
